The morning took the Engine and Ladder to a high-rise for a fire alarm. The crew found a some condition in the 4th floor that was traced back to burnt cooking. Units cleared after performing some ventilation. In the evening, Company 80 and mutual aid were sent to the 500 block of North Second Street for a structure fire. Crews found a mattress fire on the second floor that was quickly contained. There was no extension and ventilation was performed prior to clearing.
