The ladder truck assisted York 38 on the 602 box, reported after a lightning strike. Truck 80 arrived on scene as the second due truck company and were assigned to open up the roof. Engine 80 was also due on the fire and helped interior crews with overhaul. Later in the day, Company 80 was dispatched to box 80-03 for a reported dwelling fire. Crews arrived with a smoke condition that was traced back to an overloaded circuit. The response was reduced and units went available after the utilities were controlled.
