As Sunday apparatus checks were wrapping up, the Rescue Co. was added to the crash with entrapment in 7’s first due. Rescue enroute with 6 a minute after dispatch. Assistant 7 arrived and confirmed 2 trapped assigning LT802 as the Rescue Supervisor. Crews immediately worked with Company 7’s crew performing stabilization as D/C 7 and Rescue Supervisor discussed operations. A “2 door swing” was initially considered however due to patient position, crews determined a quick door removal would be sufficient. Both patients were extricated within 13 min of arrival and in care of EMS.
