The Rescue/Engine and Traffic assisted West Hempfield Fire/Rescue with back-to-back serious crashes in the township.
The first incident was located on the Route 462 bridge over the Susquehanna River. The crew went to work on extrication, patient care, and fire suppression along with Wrightsville Fire & Rescue Company 41 and Tac 76. A total of 7 patients were transported by ground or by air from the scene.

EMS units from Life Lion, Lancaster EMS, LifeTeam EMS, Manheim Township Ambulance Association, Northwest EMS, Gordonville Fire & EMS Co., WellSpan Health, and STAT MedEvac responded to the scene.

The second incident was located on Malleable Road at Pheasant Road for a crash involving a motorcycle. Rescue 80 and 76 provided scene lighting for the police before clearing the scene.
